Warrior Quarterback, Colt Brennan DID NOT participate in contact drills today but Head Coach June Jones says Colt WILL MAKE THE TRIP and does expect Brennan to return to normal practice tomorrow. Jones also says IF Colt is well enough to practice, he'd be well enough to play.
For the 2nd straight day, Junior Tyler Graunke and Sophomore Inoke Funaki took the snaps at Quarterback, with Funaki seeing the lions share of work in drills against the first team defense.
As far as Runningback, Freshman Kealoha Pilares, who missed the Fresno State game with a knee injury...He will NOT play Friday Night against Nevada. Leon Wright-Jackson, David Farmer, and Daniel Libre will head to Reno as the ball carriers for Hawaii.
BREAKING NEWS:
= Colt Brennan along with 14 other QB's today have been named to the Walter Camp Watch-List, as the Nation's Top Quarterback. It's the 2nd straight season that he has made The Camp Watch List. = Rainbow Warrior Guard, Senior Bobby Nash did not practice today. He is nursing a Collarbone Injury suffered in workouts yesterday.
Head Coach Bob Nash though, feels that it WILL NOT keep him off the court for Friday Night's Match-Up with Illinois.
= Kamehameha-Grad and Houston Dynamo forward Brian Ching, the MVP of last year's MLS Cup, is doubtful for this year's title game because of a strained left calf.
US-National Team Member, suffered the injury in the 2nd-Half of Houston's 2-0 Victory over Kansas City in the Western-Conference Finals on Saturday.

If June expects Colt to practice tomorrow does that mean he'll play for sure now?
I'm pretty amazed on how quickly Colt is recovering. It sounds like it will come downt to tomorrow's practice if colt plays or not huh?
Yeah, according to Coach Junes if Colt can practice, Colt can play. THings will get very interesting tomorrow.
I like the 3 ruuningback system UH has been running. Jackson's got the straight ahead speed, Farmer is the bruiser, and Pilares/Libra have the jukeing ability. If any of them were to be converted into a Receiver which one do you think would be the best fit? Because we all know June Jones is thinking about turning anybody into a pass catcher!
I would like to see Leon catch the ball. He's tall and fast. He could step in for CJ next yr. And hopefully its Funaki throwing the ball to him.
GREAT NEWS on Bobby. Imagine if we didn't have Little Matt and Nash! Boy that could be ugly.
Yeah, I'll side with Kalae on the Runningback Question...
Leon's size fits him best at wideout, not sure if he can catch like CJ though. But getting as much action as UH Receivers get would be motivation to get up early and hit the machine huh?
I think Colt should seriously sit this one out not only for his future in the NFL but also his health in general. Not to mention I'd love to see Funaki get the start. If they can't beat Neveda without Colt they don't belong in the BCS!
Hey Rob you should try to get Stone Cold Steve Austin on the show! And that's the bottom line cause the future wii tennis champ said sooo!!
HAHAHA! We'll see if we can do that. We can even toast to a Steve-Weiser!!!
Good Stuff Wii Champ, By the way I think your Oregon Ducks will go down tomorrow. Thursday Night against THE' Willie Tuitama (
His mom is a Punahou Grad)
Okay Rob, your savior has arrived.
I like the site layout...good job.
Be very interesting to see what, if anything, Brennan does on Wednesday...
Howzit Brian? Good to have a Kailua Grad REPRESENT! It will definitley be VERY INTERESTING tomorrow morning. Mahalo for the support and keep up the good work!

Congrats to Chelsea!!!Good to see The Rainbow Wahine get their well deserved kudos! Best of Luck Wahine against Colorado this weekend.
"future wii tennis champ!!" best username since "barnaby 'white shoes' pedroia"!
On one hand I'd like to see Colt sit and take a well deserved rest but, on the other hand it would be like Manning handing the keys to Sorgi. I don't think Funaki will do a bad job, its just that I'd like Colt to be in the driver seat for the next few games. I'd feel a little safer.
I gotta show some love for some of the Hilarious names you guys have been repping!
- Barnaby "white shoes" Pedroia
- Future Wii Tennis Champ
- Karang yo Alaz
- Kanoa Leahey (HAHAHAHA! 'Nah Just Joke)
I really think that the Coaching/Medical Staff would not put Colt's future at-risk. If Colt does play I'll feel good that they know what they are doing. I hope all those involved keep in mind though, that no matter what happens in Reno, Next-Week is still the WAC Title Game no matter what against Boise State. I hope Colt's availability is not put at risk for THAT GAME in hopes of playing him against Nevada.
