After all the doubt, the speculation that a team from the islands could do the impossible and go 12-and-oh seemed like a world of distant fantasy. In sight an outright WAC Championship and most importantly a BSC Bowl Game. And then we saw a warrior team who survived a scare at Louisiana Tech, a warrior team who with fans clinching their fingers in dissapointment have them rise from their seats in celebration with a miracle comeback in San Jose, and a warrior team without their heart and soul (colt brennan) defeat the wolfpack in Nevada for the first time in school history with the kick heard round Hawaii. And then came the boom. With ESPN analysts picking Hawaii to fall, and history against the backbone of success the whole state, governor and mayor included gathered together to support our team. For the first time Aloha Stadium was a college football atmosphere. Fans vibrating the seats, tee leaves flying from left to right, not to mention a Hawaii team that proved to the nation they were the real deal. Colt Brennan became NCAA Football's all time touchdown passing leader, and yes got himself back into the heisman race. And don't you forget that defense. One that was dead last just a couple of years ago, rising from criticism and laying the smack down on the Broncos so called offensive regime. Receiving core flat out priceless, and although the special teams sputtered at times the engine kept pumping. The result, complete pandamonium. Fans rushing the field, June Jones soaked in Gatorade, and oh yes, the BSC right in the grasp of our hands because today we are number 12 in the standings and WAC Champions. It must be destiny, or it could be a blessing that a team that once went 0-and-12 can flip the switch and go 12-and-0. But one thing holds true, the day Hawaii plays in the BSC should be considered a hawaiian holiday for all. Go Warriors!

Destiny? I'm starting to REALLY believe so now. BCS rank 12? I couldn't believe it.

We need to rock NoAloha next week cause UDub reminds me of Fresno they are tough and they like to run it down the gut. If our defense can play like they did against BSU, then New Orleans/Sugar Bowl here we come!

Jake Locker played against WSU yesterday, he will play next week.

I'm so glad they got in the top 12. I hope they can take care of business next week and get to the Sugar Bowl.

Locker Passed for 224 Yds, Ran for 103 Yds in 42-35 Loss to WAZZU on Saturday. Expect a 2 Quarterback system in Halawa on Saturday though with Locker & Louis Rankin.

This BCS clinching game will not be easy, and I personally think could be tougher than Boise State. Locker is slowly getting back to full strength and he is a very good Quarterback.

Aloha and mahalo for the Support!
GO WARRIORS!

How can Virginia Tech be above both LSU and Boston College? when LSU hammered The Hokies by 40 and BC beat them on the road? BCS is hoorible.
