"BIGGEST GAME IN WAC HISTORY"

Western Athletic Conference Commisioner Karl Benson, on Leahey & Leahey Live this morning called Friday's Boise State/Hawaii WAC Title Game the "Biggest Game in WAC History"...
The Western Athletic Conference championship and a possible Bowl Championship Series
bowl game are at stake this week when the University of Hawai’i and Boise State meet on
Friday, Nov. 23 in front of a nationally televised audience on ESPN2. Kickoff is 4:05 p.m.
at sold-out 50,000-seat Aloha Stadium.
The Warriors (10-0, 7-0 WAC) are riding a 14-game WAC win streak dating back to last
season, when they lost to Boise State, 41-34, in Boise. The Broncos (10-1, 7-0) have won
their last 17 WACgames dating back to the 2005 season.
The meeting is the highest two WAC teams have been ranked when playing each
other since Oct. 22, 1994 when 11th-ranked Colorado State hosted 15th-ranked Utah.
The five-time defending WAC champ Broncos and Hawai‘i have combined for 44 wins over
the past two seasons, unmatched by any other tandem in any conference.
The match-up features a pair of Heisman Trophy candidates in Hawai’i quarterback
Colt Brennan and BSU running back Ian Johnson. Both finished sixth and eighth, respec-
tively, in Heisman voting last season.

Be sure to tune in on Friday Morning to Leahey & Leahey Live for a BIG GAME EDITION of the show. Check out some of the names already confirmed to be on the show...
Neil Everett, Jesse Palmer, Scott van Pelt, Michael Carter, Steve Greenberg and MUCH MUCH MORE!!!!

I'm glad I'm going to miss the game. I don't think I can handle another close game (and it WILL be a close game). The Sox drained me this year.

Hey, can you guys also let Van Pelt know that I think Romo is a jerk. I'd invite him to my party.

So if I'm guessing right, the reigning Conference player of the week won't see any playing time on Friday huh? How many other schools can say that?
