No. 11 Hawai`i Overcomes Bulldogs, Sickness To Clinch WAC Title

No coach...no problem for the Rainbow Wahine volleyball team.
Hawaii...playing on the road for the second straight night....but this time, without head coach Dave Shoji, who stayed in Reno, where UH played last night. Did not make the the trip with the team to fresno today....suffering from a form of the stomach flu. Several players also complained of symptoms....still, the team got the job done.
11th-ranked Hawaii topped fresno state...ekahi, elua, aloha.
With the win, the Wahine clinched the WAC regular season title for the 12th consecutive time.
Jamie Houston had 17-kills and 15-digs.
They improve to 20-4, 14-0 in the conference.
Shoji is planning on re-joining the team on their way back to Honolulu.
