NO RESPECT...

Not everybody thinks Hawaii should be on the brink of a BCS Game...Here's a Clip from The Cartoon Network's "Aqua Teen Hunger Force"...It's pretty safe to say, this show is now on the Papa Leahey "Boycott List"

And The Animation Video funs continues with South Park's Eric Cartman introducing Waimea's own, Colorado Linebacker Jordan Dizon against Nebraska this past weekend.

the sad part is that the rest of the country has good reason to dis Hawaii. imagine if you were in their shoes and you saw a team blow through nobodys and get into a bcs game. e' be bitching too.

Of course mainlanders don't want to see Hawaii in a BCS Bowl, they still think we live in grass huts and wear hula skirts. How can a bunch of hula dancers that don't understand english play football? Besides, haole's like to protest anything. Just look at the Super Ferry and Hawaiian Rights. They can't stand it when someone else is basking in the spot light. Deserving or not, I believe UH never lost to Appalachan State and didn't they beat Illinois in the Holiday Bowl? I guess Michigan and Ohio State have no business being in a BCS bowl either.

Hey like Demello said the other day, what does it say about how good a team is when Michigan State pays to get out of a game with them. I think if MSU didn't drop the game it's a pretty legit schedule. Boise, Fresno, Washington, Mighigan State. Not bad huh?

The only thing wrong with the "nobody wants to play us" argument is that, aside from Michigan State's spot, there were still 3 open spaces on the schedule entering the calendar year...one of which, never got filled at all. Of course teams won't play us if we invite them on such short notice, where they know exactly what they're getting into. Most schedules are completed years in advance....it appeared to be an oversight of Herman Frazier's as far as completing the schedule ahead of time. By the time we got around to inviting teams down here, they were well aware of how good Hawaii would be with Colt Brennan and company. If UH played a better schedule, they might be in the conversation of national championship contenders. Seriously...especially in this, the whackiest season in college football history.

I'm sick of how easy the "local fan" say mainlanders don't want Hawaii in the BCS. Start playing somebody and we'll see how good this team is. And you wonder why "mainlanders" have ill feelings toward Hawaiians, because you're so quick to call people not from there "haoles" Oh, and stop acting like poor Hawaii. I beleive Kamehameha Schools is worth like a blillion dollars.

I agree that it's Frazier's fault. So lets fire Frazier and Nash and give their paychecks to June Jones.

shannon, 'cool your jets, man'. Haole meant foreigner/outsider in the past so what's your beef? Tell Michigan State and Texas not to back out of games with UH; and Michigan got theirs by losing to Appalachian State instead of UH this year at Ann Arbor. Next season will be too late but UH does start AT Florida.

Hey can't we all just enjoy one of the best seasons of college football ever and skip the race war. I know I sure will but, maybe thats because I'm part haole and part hawaiian and I can't choose a side.

Yo LB, I think that may be the smartest idea I've ever heard. If Frazier does get fired I say you should take his place. LB4UHAD!!!!

well if Haole means foreigner than why don't asian, black, polynesian people called foreigners?

I must say, Shannon is amazingly ignorant. How many Hawaiians are able to attend Kamehameha? How many Hawaiians are there in the State? Nation? Because one private institution has a substantial estate, that means all Hawaiians are rich? Wow, why am I busting my ass then, I am rich and didnt know it, thank you for enlightening us on why we are the abusive bigots full of prejudice. And as for the Warriors, if I am not mistaken, in recent years Northwestern, Michigan State, Purdue, Arizona State have all lost to Hawaii, Oregon State was very close, and oh yea, Boise. Did our schedule suck this year, yes. Did HF wait to long, hell yes. Are we as fans happy about that, hell no. But what can we do this year? beside making sure HF knows we wont accept that mistake again. So cool your jets there Hawaiian hater.

First off, why would this be on Sr. Leahey's boycott list? You don't even need to watch ATHF to know that carl, well, he isn't a winner. More like the opposite. Funny stuff.

To warrior fans, if people want to rain on our parade, it surely won't stop us from celebrating this great season! chehoo!

And to shannon, racist comments have nothing to do with football, but somehow to many who haven't experienced Hawaii's local flavor it often seems to become a racial prejudice. And yes, even in Hawaii there is racial prejudice, but everywhere you look in the world there are bitter, ignorant people playing the race card. But in Hawaii's rich multicultural stew, its rare to see.
All anybody wants is some respect, and that is exactly what Warrior would love to see, and now that we are really getting some its nice.

Hey Berba if you listen to the show his boycotts are always funny and for really odd reasons. I'm pretty sure it would be because of his haircut or jams he's wearing. lol
Good post. Really well said and Shannon has shut up real fast huh?
