Gibson Boosts Bows Past Coppin State

Matt Gibson's season debut for the Rainbow Warrior Basketball team was a successful one, as Hawaii clobbered Coppin State, 79-58. It was Gibson's first game back since injuring his left knee a couple days prior to UH's opener against San Diego.
Gibson showed little ill-affect from the injury, dashing up and down the court in his usual energetic style to lead the Bows with a game-high 18 points.
Riley Leuttgerodt added 17, and Bill Amis chipped in with 16.
Hawaii improved to 2-3 on the season, and will hit the road later this week to take on San Diego in a rematch of their season opener. The Rainbow Warriors lost the first meeting 73-72, back on November 9th.
