WIE SAYS SHE WILL NOT PLAY VS. MEN IN '08

Michelle Wie will focus on playing in women's events in 2008, CBSSports.com and the Daily Telegraph of London reported Thursday.
Wie, 18, hasn't ruled out possibly playing in a men's event in Asia at the end of next year, the reports said.
Wie's coach, David Leadbetter, said she will focus on regaining her old form after a terrible 2007, CBSSports.com reported.
"I think she just wants to reestablish herself," Leadbetter said, the Web site reported. "Obviously, after such a terrible year, her biggest goal needs to be getting her form and confidence back. You do that brick by brick."
Wie earned just $23,024 in 2007 on the LPGA Tour. She will focus on rebuilding her game, confidence and reputation, CBSSports.com reported.
"She's got to eat a bit of humble pie," Leadbetter said, the Web site reported. "She knows she has to prove herself all over again. And she's OK with that."

Wow! about time she got her mind/game back in order....but, i don't think Leadbetter is the way. She needs to 'regress' back o her swing/game of 3-4 yrs. ago.

I agree with Pops on this one, golf is a mental game. We all want to see her do good but. . .David Duval is a classic example.
Her swing is too quick, that's why she hurt her wrists in the first place chasing the men.
Leadbetter not a good fit, coached Nick Price. . .after Price won his two majors, went downhill from there.
She still can't putt, who is her putting coach. . .Leadbetter's wife.
I wish Michelle luck, the cards are stacked against her.
