The very first Round One Match-Up pits Tes Whitlock's Game Winning 3-Pointer to beat BYU in 1995 up against Tadd Fujikawa's Eagle on 18 in Round 2 of the 2007 Sony Open, becoming the youngest player in 50-years to make the cut in a PGA Event.

My vote goes to Tad. Remarkable achievment for an amateur to make the cut in a pga tourney.
I say tad as well. I think the excitment of Pops' call makes it bigger than it is. As far as what Tadd did that day, it is huge.

Tes' shot from the corner on the full run was amazing. I lost my voice cheering after that shot. Tad's accomplishment was historical, and more amazing. We are talking Tad hang in there with the pros.

i was also at the trevor ruffin byu beater a few years earlier. and also recall the anthony harris almost byu buzzer a few years later.
