STRIKE UP THE BAND!...HAWAII 5-0 IS BACK!

So according to New Warrior Head Football Coach, Greg McMackin, Hawaii Five-0 will make a long awaited return to the University of Hawaii Pre-Game. Coach says he loves the song and it represents what he and his staff are trying to accomplish at UH. SO where do you stand on this? Did you like the packaged intro music created by June Jones and Mike Post? Or are you anxious to see The Warriors storm out of the Halawa Tunnel to the sound of the band ripping the Hawaii 5-0 tune?

Maybe you should ask the former players if they liked Hawaii 5-0?

I cetainly do. It's our music, and can only be played by our team. I think the connection with the history of HI football is very important, too. Traditionally, the warriors were hard nose defensive team. The song brings up images of the Noga brothers taking it to the so-called blue ribbon 5-star over glorified athletes. Didn't Al Noga cause a fumble on the first series against Remmington who was the center from Wisconsin? That is what I feel in the music. Hard nose defense and football.

Gotta love Mack.

Hawaii 5-O is coming back? While we're at it we might as well recruit old farts and hags at starting offensive and defensive line. June jones' theme songs he brought it brought a strong vibe and energy to the hawaii crowd. Even visitors ofr opponents teams playings against Hawaii had chicken skins listening to the new songs June brought. Me being one.

P.s
for those who are for the Hawaii 5-O song, are probably old timers. Wake up and smell the poi, this is the 21 Century...not the 20th century.

What is the Hawaii Warriors representing, Hollywood or the Hawai and Polynesian nation? Look at is this way... Hawaii 5-O and Ha'a? Honestly, I don't see any correlation.

Your name says it all Bagder Fan, not Warrior Fan.
Hawaii 5-0 needs to make a come back. As soon as the drums start playing the intro, everyone in the stands looks towards the band for that song! Nothing wrong with what JJ did, adding 5-0 will just add to the pregame hype!
